How do I add, edit or cancel an autopay cancelation link?

You can set up an autopay cancellation link to automatically redirect your customers to your specified URL when they attempt to cancel their subscription through PayPal. This URL could be to your login page, help center, subscriptions cancellation guide or retention & cancellation flows.

Here’s how to add an autopay cancelation link on the PayPal website:    

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click  Website payments.
  3. Go to the Autopay cancellation link section and click Add link.
  4. Click Add a Link.
  5. Enter your redirect URL and select the country.

Here’s how to edit or delete an autopay cancellation link on the PayPal website:    

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click Website payments.
  3. Go to the Autopay cancellation link section.
  4. Select Edit or Delete beside your URL.

To completely remove access so that your customers cannot be redirected to your webpage, here’s how to remove access to the cancellation link on the PayPal website:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click Website payments.
  3. Go to the Autopay cancellation link section.
  4. Select Remove cancellation access on top of the page, in the summary description.

To add, edit or remove an autopay cancelation link on the app:

  1. Tap Payments.
  2. Tap Bills.
  3. Tap The Year Planner.
  4. Select Manage.
  5. Select Manage and cancel at The Year Planner.
